Another program utilized by the Orland Park Police Department is the Walk and Talk Program. In an effort to familiarize the public with the officers working those beats which they are assigned, the Walk and Talk program was initiated.  It is therefore the policy of the Orland Park Police Department to be in continual contact with the businesses, citizens and youth of the community on a one to one, informal meeting a minimum of eight hours during each patrol officers shift.
