The Traffic Safety Unit is a component of the Patrol Division and is staffed with one sergeant and four traffic officers.  The Traffic Unit is primarily responsible for Village Wide Traffic Enforcement, Major Traffic Crash Investigations and Traffic Enforcement Planning.
