The Orland Park Police Department maintains a formally organized central records component within the Division of Administrative and Technical Services.  The component is known as the Records Section and operates as the central repository for all Department records, reports and registration.   The Records Section has the primary responsibility for the quality control of reports, report control, record maintenance and record retrieval. 

It is the policy of the Orland Park Police Department to furnish reports in a timely manner which are factual, accurate and comprehensive.  The Records Section of the Police Departments maintains all of the departments reports, etc. The Records Section is open Monday - Friday, 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M, excluding holidays.   If a copy of a report is needed by an individual, the report must be requested and picked-up in person.
