All property and/ or evidence admitted into custody of the Orland Park Police Department after processing, is immediately placed in a secure environment for safekeeping.  This Section of the department is entitled the Evidence and Recovered Property Section.   ERPS is a controlled, secure environment which allows the department to properly manage all received evidence and property.  All property and/ or evidence is released by the ERPS Officer between 08:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. on weekdays.   Said property will be returned to the rightful owner(s) upon presentation of proof of ownership and proper identification upon adjudication.
